South of the Border welcomes you to our new blog!
We are so excited to finally bring you our colourful new blog! WELCOME!! We want to share with you what goes into our brand and the inspiration behind our designs, using stories and pictures from the far away lands we visit. We hope to give you an insight into our passions and the blood, sweat, sequins and cashmere that make South of the Border a reality.
We will also be bringing you fun tips and ideas to make fashion exciting and inspiring, new and innovative. We have always lived by the motto... "life is too short to wear boring clothes" and now we add to this "life is too short to read boring blogs!"

South of the Border is all about soft, natural fibres with a splash of sparkle and fun. We strive to design pieces that will not go out of fashion - pieces that will be cherished season after season. Things that are not found anywhere else, things that their makers have put some love into.
To compliment our own brand, we hand pick crafts from artisans on our travels around the world. We love the textiles and traditions of Mexico, their love of colour and the art of Frida Kahlo. We are inspired by the bohemian way of life of the West Indias, the vibrancy of Greek textiles, and the beautiful beadwork of Kenya and India. Our store is forever evolving with the things we find on our travels.
