South of the Border | Stuff We Love | Disco @ 3:57 PM
We find inspiration in many places and this weeks Stuff We Love is all things Disco!
Muse: We've always been inspired by Bianca Jagger's style, she was a 70's glam goddess and was never afraid to push the boundaries of fashion. Her enduring style consisted of some of our absolute favourites, including sparkling sequins and flowing Grecian dresses. Every designer wanted to dress her and she always looked exotic and wonderful. She is famous for putting Studio 54 on the map when she rode in on a white horse on her 30th birthday in 1977.
Lust: Sparkle Pants - Just try to keep yourself from dancing in our sparkling slouch pants, they are seriously comfy and ridiculously cool. Luxury rayon jersey inside, glorious gold sequins on the outer. With a draw string waist made using plaited silk, they mix fab with fun.
Watch: Xanadu - The hair...... the outfits.....the roller skates and the tragic 80's soundtrack make this the perfect movie for a girls night in. It was the "place where nobody dared to go....The love that we came to know....They call it Xanaduuuuuuuuuu!
Need: Xanadu Top - So inspired were we after watching Xanadu, we named a top after it! Perfect with a killer stiletto and a skinny grey jean...shake it, baby...
Want: Moxi Lolly Floss Roller Skates - After watching all the amazing 80's dance moves performed on skates in Xanadu, we are feeling the need for some old school roller skates and these Moxi ones are pretty and amazing all at once.
Listen: Scissor Sisters - The instantly catchy "I Don't Feel Like Dancing" co written with Elton John instantly get's our disco groove on.
